Overview
The Plush Bed is a new and innovative sleep system that is more comfortable and inviting than you can possibly imagine. The profile of the Plush is an impressive 15". It is exquisitely soft to touch and has the look and feel of the most expensive pillow-top mattresses in the world.
This variable support mattress is unique in the industry and is made from two separate components, the pillow top section and the mattress support base. The pillow top can be completely unzipped from the base allowing you to clean both parts.
Aloe Vera Smart Fabric
The Plush Bed cover is made from a scientifically advanced new class of textiles called "Smart Fabric". It contains over 75 nutrients and 200 active compounds that can help improve overall cellular metabolism and functioning, enhance the function of the entire immune system and aid in turning back the clock on the effects of aging on the skin.
The Pillow Top Offers Outstanding Pressure Relief
The Plush Bed does more to relieve pressure and provide what your body really needs during sleep than any mattress ever made. The bed has a pillow-top section and a base-section. The base provides deep down support, while the pillow top provides the ultimate in body conforming, plush comfort. The pillow-top section is made of 3 layers totaling 6" of foam:
- 2" of Quiltflex is super soft to the touch
- 1" of corrugated "waffleflex" for maximum air distribution keeps you cool
- 3" of premium Vx memory foam which is individually encased in a cotton Jersey-knit cover and zipped into the pillow top section; conforms to and supports the curves in your body. This section is removeable.
Removable Pillow Top Provides Adjustable Comfort
The versatility of the Plush cover with its two zippered sections (the pillow-top and the base) gives you the ultimate in flexibility, allowing you to adjust the comfort of your bed. You can change the 3" memory foam in the pillow-top and switch it with softer or firmer memory foam at any time.
The top zipper is positioned so that you can completely remove the 3" memory foam in the pillow-top and zip the top quilted cover directly to the base creating a firmer mattress. The Plush Bed can be customized to change the comfort level at any time after you purchase it, making it the most adaptable mattress on the market.
Unlike other beds, you can replace the top memory foam layer and wash the cover in the event of a damaging spill. This is a major benefit that other beds don't have. Likewise, you may replace the top layer of foam after a several years, rather than replacing the entire mattress. The removable nature of the pillow top makes the Plush Bed a wise investment!
Choose from 3 Firmness Levels in Core of Mattress
Underneath the pillow-top is the support base. You can choose to have either no memory foam, one inch of memory foam, or three inches, depending on your desire for a firmer or softer feel.
- 9/0 Core - 9" of support base foam with no memory foam (not pictured). Combined with the pillow top, the 9/0 core makes a medium soft bed.
- 8/1 Core - 8" of support base foam with 1" of memory foam (see picture below). Combined with the pillow top, the 8/1 core makes a soft bed.
- 6/3 Core - 6" of base foam with 3" of memory foam (see picture below). Combined with the pillow top, the 8/1 core makes a super soft bed.

Split His / Hers Adjustability
The queen, king and cal king size mattresses can be ordered with a split core. That means you can have a mattress with 1 firmer side and 1 softer side. A split core mattress looks exactly the same on the outside. It still is just 1 mattress, but inside, the components are arranged differently. The cores can be split into 3 different configurations:
- 9/0 & 8/1 Core - combined with the pillow top, this makes a bed with 1 medium soft side and 1 soft side.
- 9/0 & 6/3 Core - combined with the pillow top, this makes a bed with 1 medium soft side and 1 super soft side.
- 8/1 & 6/3 Core - combined with the pillow top, this makes a bed with 1 soft side and 1 super soft soft side.
US made BASF Pluracel Vx ™ Foam
We use only the safest new BASF Pluracel Vx ™ Memory Foam. This is the next generation of pressure relieving material that makes traditional memory foam obsolete. Vx is made in the USA using "Clean Foam" technology (with no BHT's and no harmful smells or carcinogenic chemicals) and provides a perfect blend of density, durability and comfort unsurpassed in the bedding industry today. The foam core (the supporting base foam that catches your body after the memory foam takes your shape) is made from a high resiliency material used specifically in modern mattress manufacturing.
The BASF material is made into foam by the Carpenter Company, the largest supplier of foam products in the world. Founded in 1956 and headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, the company is a worldwide manufacturer of specialty foam products for home furnishings.
Temperature Range:
Typical memory foams have a very narrow temperature range in which they exhibit their design characteristics. This range is usually about 20 degrees Fahrenheit - typically from about 70 to 90 degrees. Using the Dual Peak Technology, BASF has dramatically increased this range. Vx memory foam will perform to spec from 40 to 100 degrees - more than adequate to meet your needs.
That means that when you get in the Plush Bed on a cold night, it won't be rock hard like other memory foam beds. It will still be soft and supple down to 40 degrees. Likewise, it won't be too soft and un-supportive during the summer. It has an quick recover rate (rebound) that allows you to roll over easily and feel well supported.
The Inner Cover:
The inner cover is one of the most overlooked components of any great memory foam mattress, yet it is one of the most critical. The Plush Bed's inner cover is a breathable cotton Jersey-knit fabric that prevents wear due to friction...the number one enemy of visco-elastic memory foam.
The Plush Bed is equipped with the most advanced open flame resistance technology and meets the strict California TB 603 standard. Other fire protection features include fireproof Kevlar thread in every seam in the cover and a fire-proof skirt along the inside of the cover border.
