Adjustable Bed Mattress - Which memory foam mattress do you recommend to use with an adjustable base?

Great question - probably one of the most asked questions we receive.  With all the information out there it can be a little overwhelming when trying to decide on the correct adjustable bed mattress.

Well let’s start with comfort of a mattress which needs to come first when deciding on a mattress then second, and just as important, is the ability of the mattress to flex with the adjustable bed base.

We have designed our 10” mattress with the highest priority being comfort and flexibility, realizing that this will be our most popular memory foam mattress to go on an adjustable bed base.

We asked ourselves the question, “Why 10” thick?”

When getting into bed some people sit easy and some people sit hard putting a lot of force on the edge of the mattress.  We found out that 8” wasn’t quite thick enough and some individuals would bottom out causing pressure on their lower back.  Now sleeping 8” works great.

When using a mattress with an adjustable, going thicker isn’t always better.  There are potentially two issues that occur when going to thick. One, you lose some of the flexibility of the mattress because it is too thick and the angles that you have with a thinner mattress are diminished.

We found that the 10” mattress solves all of these issues.  The hard sitters don’t bottom out and we kept all the flexibility and all the angles that the adjustable bases were designed for with the 10” mattress.
When it comes to comfort, we found that using our 5LB visco, which is Certipur-US, like all of our foam, offers the most comfort and works the best when flexing with the adjustable.  Then we add 1.5” of Air Flow, not only opening up channels for air to circulate, but also enabling the mattress to flex even better.   In the base of the mattress, we use our 2.4 Density foam which offers support and durability, giving years of service that our customers are accustom to.  Then we cover the mattress with our Organic Cotton cover making this our best mattress to use on a adjustable bed base.
