Overview

The process of creating Ingeo makes use of the carbon naturally stored in plants by photosynthesis. The starches in the plants are broken down into sugar. The carbon and other elements in these natural sugars are then used to make a biopolymer through a process of simple fermentation and separation. The resulting resin is spun into Ingeo for use in textiles. It takes 50% less energy to make Ingeo fiber than to make polyester.

Ingeo™ is made from naturally wholesome raw materials like corn by the Natural Living company.

This natural 300 Sateen Ingeo™ Fiber Fill Comforter provides premium insulation, has a low odor retention, and wicks moisture away from the skin. A very durable comforter, it has high strength, high resilience, low flammability, and provides a comfortable lasting loft. Covered with 300 thread count 100% cotton sateen fabric and sewn with a 15 inch diamond box stitch construction.
