Green Choice bedding for your home, the eco-friendly Ingeo™ Fiber Bed will provide you with high quality sleep on a natural bed of softness. Ingeo™ is made from naturally wholesome raw materials like corn by the Natural Living company.
This fiber bed provides superior insulation and does not support bacterial growth under normal use conditions. It has a naturally low odor retention and wicks away moisture. The fiber bed features a 7” sewn through vertical channel and anchor bands which keep it firmly in place on your mattress. It also has a 230 Thread Count, 100% Cotton cover.
Environmentally smart, this Ingeo™ Fiber Bed, filled with an earth-friendly Ingeo™ Fiber Fill batting, is a healthy balance of nature and technology. It is filled with Ingeo, which is the world's first synthetic fiber made from 100% renewable resources such as corn, whose carbon and sugars are spun into fabric.
The process of creating Ingeo uses carbon that is stored in plants naturally by photosynthesis. The plant starches are broken down into sugar. The carbon and other elements in these natural sugars are then used to make a biopolymer through fermentation and separation, resulting in resin that is spun into Ingeo for use in textiles. It takes 50% less energy to make Ingeo fiber than to make polyester.
Ingeo is hypo-allergenic. It offers natural loft, warmth, resilience, and excellent moisture wicking properties. It will stay dry even in the most humid of places.
