My Luxury Mattress 20 Year Limited Warranty


My Luxury Mattress guarantees that we will, at our option, replace or repair your mattress if it is defective due to faulty workmanship or structural defects, subject to the limitations described in this warranty. Warranty starts on date of purchase. My Luxury Mattress reserves the right to substitute comparable materials or models and does not guarantee that the replacement will match the existing product.

What the Warranty Covers

This limited warranty covers deterioration causing the mattress to have a visible indentation greater than one and a half inches that is not associated with a sag in the foundation, box springs, or platform, and any physical flaw in the mattress that causes the material to split or crack, despite normal usage and proper handling. Repair or replacement of the mattress or foundation does not extend its limited warranty or begin a new limited warranty period. To be eligible for consideration under the terms of this warranty, you must return mattress to our factory for inspection.
 
What the Warranty Does Not Cover

This limited warranty does not cover a firmness preference of the product or a normal increase in softness or a decrease in the slow recovery characteristics of the foam, neither of which affect the pressure-relieving qualities of the mattress. Body impressions of up to one and one half inches are a normal function of the mattress conforming to your body and should be expected.

Use Proper Foundation

This limited warranty does not cover mattresses used with inappropriate foundations. Our mattresses are designed to work on a firm, flat surface. This warranty will only cover mattresses used in conjunction with a proper foundation and bed frame including center support. Any use of inappropriate foundation or bed frame, that does not provide continuous, firm, flat support, will void this warranty. Proof of quality of foundation will be required to accompany warranty claim.

Full Warranty

During the first 10 years of this warranty, we will not charge you to repair or replace your mattress, if we deem your mattress defective and eligible under the terms of this warranty, but you will pay any transportation costs, including, but not limited to insurance, shipping, boxing, and handling fees.

Limited Warranty

During years 11 through 20, you will pay a prorated charge, based on the number of years since purchase date, if we deem your mattress defective and eligible under the terms of this warranty. The prorated charge will be fifty percent of the original purchase price on year eleven, and five percent more per year for years eleven through twenty. You will pay transportation costs to and from our facility, including, but not limited to insurance, shipping, boxing, and handling fees.

Keeping Your Warranty Valid

If your mattress or cover is physically abused, damaged, burnt, soiled, stained, cut, or torn, this warranty is void. It is recommended that you use a mattress pad or mattress protector at all time to ensure that your rights to a warranty claim.
This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser of the product. An original purchaser is one who purchases the product directly from My Luxury Mattress or an authorized retailer of My Luxury Mattress.  If you are not the original purchaser of this product, you take it "as is" and "with all faults." We will require proof of purchase and mattress law tags from you demonstrating that you are the original purchaser and eligible to make a valid claim under this warranty.

How to Make Claim

To start claims process, contact your Dealer and receive a Return Authorization before shipping mattress. Return Authorization # must be indicated on outside of shipping container, or delivery will be refused without inspection of mattress. Mattress must be properly packaged in complete plastic covering and sturdy cardboard for return shipping, and arrive at our facility clean and in good condition, without shipping damage, to be eligible for warranty claim.

When requesting Return Authorization, you should state the reason for the claim and support it with clear pictures of the top, bottom, and sides of your mattress, along with pictures of the foundation and bed frame that has been used with the mattress. If your claim is for a dip in the mattress, please also include a picture of the string test, as described below, clearly showing distance from surface of bed to level string on ruler.

To determine you have a warranty claim, first be sure that your bed is on a firm, flat, level surface. Then, with someone helping you, hold a string lightly on the top edge of your mattress and the other end of the string on the opposite top edge. Measure the greatest distance between the string and the surface of the mattress. Mattresses with a dip of over one and a half inches are eligible for a warranty claim.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state. The duration of any applicable implied warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness, shall not exceed the term of this limited warranty. My Luxury Mattress shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages that result from the use of your product.
