My Luxury Mattress recycles 100% of our scrap foam, so there is no waste!
During the process of making our mattresses, edges of block foam are trimmed to cut foam pieces to size.
We gather these scrap pieces together at our factory and run them through a machine that turns them into scrap foam bundles. Every day My Luxury Mattress ships approximately 900 lbs of scrap foam to a Leggett and Platt company called Iredell Fiber.
Iredell Fiber chops up this scrap foam into bits and then bonds them together to make a product called Rebun. Rebun is cut into auto seat cushions and carpet underlayment pads. Because of our commitment to the recycling process in our factory, you can feel confident that you purchase from My Luxury Mattress has the minimum possible impact on our environment. Likewise our Preserve Foam, made with Soy Bean oil, is a renewable resource and much friendlier to our environment than other foams made out of petroleum.
