The Canadian Down and Feather Products Association (CDFPA) is a non-profit, national organization that is headquartered in Toronto. The purpose is to maintain quality standards for down products. For years, Market Minder, the CDFPA's surveillance program, had randomly purchased down and feather products to test for quality. This random testing process encourages all processors, manufacturers, and retailers to abide by with CDFPA standards.If the down products comply, they earn the Downmark seal to the right.
