The Swing away hinges are used for the Split Queen, Split Kings and Split Cal King Adjustable bases. Using this system gives allows the adjustables to be attached to the head board giving the ability to pull the adjustables apart for cleaning, making the bed or changing the sheets without detaching the adjustables from the Head Board.
